I have not come out of retirement. However, this must be said.
Evil can never win. Every time evil strikes, if you've ever noticed, the good people who survive pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and a resolve, a quiet burning resolve shows up in them and they go take care of the situation. This has happened time and again. Pearl Harbor, JFK's assassination, 9/11, and those are just the recent events.
In the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder we have seen millions of people who had never heard of him now are hearing his words, seeing his ministry, and things are happening around the world because of him. It is a tragedy for Erica Kirk, his widow, and their children. No doubt about that. But look at the good that has come about. A steeling of national will against the darkness. We have formed prayer vigils, not burned down cities. Before Erica spoke to the nation after her husband's brutal murder. Turning Point USA had a little over 10,000 chapters in high schools and colleges across the country. After her speech, they had 18,000 chapter requests. That shows you how many people have seen what's going on and have taken a committed stand to push the darkness back.
Evil always destroys itself, it is inevitable. The hundreds or thousands of people who have spoken publicly to celebrate this man's death have lost their jobs and likely their careers. Because when a prospective employer finds out why you got fired from the last job, even though it's not supposed to be covered, you're going to have a hard time finding new employment. So the radicals have crushed themselves and all they've done is awoken a resolve in the good people of this country.
Not to burn down cities, not to persecute people, but to continue Charlie's mission of speaking truth and faith and facts with respect and kindness on a one-to-one basis to those who are surrounded by that ideological darkness. To bring those people from the darkness to the light. Thank you for all of those people who continue Charlie's mission.
